Happy New Year Everyone

Hi folks,

devilndove.com

It’s been almost two weeks since my last post, thanks to the holiday chaos. Leading up to Christmas, I was feeling nervous and unsure about how things would go this year. I hadn’t spoken to two of my four kids in a while and worried I might be in their bad books. On top of that, my wife and I had absolutely no budget for the holidays this year—a first in many years. We couldn’t even plan a proper Christmas dinner.

To my relief, Christmas Day turned out much better than I expected. Everyone showed up in great spirits, and having our two grandkids around made it feel much more like the holidays of the past. That special family time really lifted my spirits.

The period between Christmas and New Year’s was quieter, giving us time to reflect. My wife and I talked a lot about the business and what we want to accomplish this year. While we’ve had a rough start and no real success so far, we’ve learned a lot. We’re hopeful that with time, effort, and a bit of luck, we’ll strike a chord—either with our online store or at local events.

My son has kindly offered to chauffeur my wife to events and shows. Since I know my limitations and struggle to cope with the crowds and logistics, this is a huge help and means we can finally start exploring booth rentals and event sales more seriously.

As we head into 2025, we’re feeling cautiously optimistic. We have lots of ideas for new products and can’t wait to put all the tools and gear we’ve invested into good use. If you’d like to support us, please check out our online store at devilndove.online—we offer free shipping worldwide!

January is kicking off with some stress for me, though. I have a nuclear heart stress test on Monday, January 6th, and an EKG on Thursday. Both appointments are at the local hospital, and honestly, I’m feeling pretty anxious about it.

To distract myself and start the year creatively, we’ve decided to make January our Ring Month! We’ll be exploring everything from UV resin molded rings to lost wax casting. It should be a fun and inspiring way to start the year, and we’re excited to share the journey with you.

Here’s to a better and brighter new year!
Cheers,
Jack
