My Journey with Prolia and COPD Management: A Personal Update
April 21, 2024 | by spousingitup
Hello everyone,
This past Thursday marked another routine Prolia injection for me—an essential part of my osteoporosis treatment regimen. As always, the days following the injection have left me feeling a bit sore and generally under the weather. It’s a discomfort I’ve come to expect every time I receive my shot, a small price I pay for the larger benefit of stronger bones and reduced risk of fractures.
Despite the predictability of these side effects, it doesn’t really get easier. The aches remind me of the continuous battle my body endures—not just with osteoporosis, but with my ongoing struggle with COPD as well.
Speaking of COPD, my doctor recently prescribed some new steroids to help manage my symptoms. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is never easy, and lately, it’s been a bit tougher than usual. Breathing has become more of a challenge, with episodes of choking up more frequent. It’s a scary feeling, not being able to catch your breath, a feeling of a belt constantly tightened around your chest.
However, I’m not one to sit back and let life pass me by. In the midst of managing my health issues, I’ve been pouring my energy into creating new art pieces. Art and crafting have always been therapeutic for me—a way to express myself and stay grounded. I’m excited about the projects I’m currently working on and am eager to share them with all of you soon. I’m planning not only to showcase videos of my process but also to update my store with new products.
Sharing my journey through my blog and store isn’t just about business; it’s about connecting with others who might be going through similar struggles, about spreading awareness, and about the healing power of creating something beautiful from scratch.
Thank you all for your continuous support and understanding. Your messages and comments brighten my days and give me the strength to keep pushing forward, even on the tough days. Stay tuned for the upcoming videos and store updates—I promise there’s exciting stuff on the way!
Remember, whether it’s dealing with health issues or any other of life’s challenges, we’re in this together. Let’s keep creating, sharing, and supporting each other.
Take care,
Ree
